The Subaru Tribeca, a midsize crossover SUV, was introduced in 2005 by Subaru to offer a comfortable and family-friendly interior with its signature all-wheel-drive capability. The Tribeca was built on the Legacy platform and was sold together with a Saab vehicle, a subsidiary of General Motors. The Tribeca was known for its distinctive exterior design, featuring a distinctive exterior design, unique front grille, and headlight configuration. It typically had three rows of seating, accommodating up to seven passengers. The car's interior was designed for comfort and versatility, featuring a user-friendly infotainment system and various convenience features.
The first generation Tribeca had a 3.0-liter flat-six engine, which was later upgraded to a 3.6-liter flat-six engine, paired with Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel-drive system. It also featured a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for improved fuel efficiency. Unfortunately, the Tribeca was discontinued after the 2014 model year due to sales challenges. It was replaced by the Subaru Ascent.
